The Prime Minister talks a big game when it comes to jobs, but he’s not there when it comes to taking action.
That’s according to our MP, Niki Ashton, who tells Arctic Radio News that the lack of any action by Ottawa on job losses in Thompson is a sign of what could happen in Flin Flon come 2021.
Ashton says that’s important to keep Justin Trudeau accountable, as he even though he “talks a lot about the middle class and good jobs”, the federal government isn’t at the table whether it’s on issues of diversification or whether it’s on saving good jobs in our north.
Parliament is set to resume on Monday following their winter break.
