The 2019 fee and fine schedule is now in effect.

Mayor Colleen Smook spoke to Arctic Radio News, and said that the new rates for each year are consistent with the previous years’ tax increase; which means most fees went up by 1.9%.

Mayor Smook said, however, that there were some things that did not follow that increase.

Some of the notable changes outside the 1.9% increase include a $50 fee added for ambulance pick-up on the north side of the airport and an increase to Norplex Pool rates so that they are more consistent with other communities.
