The City of Thompson will be holding a public budget meeting tomorrow night.

The meeting will start at 7:00pm in the T.R.C.C. multi-purpose room

Mayor Dennis Fenske spoke to 102.9 CHTM and said that the meeting is a chance for the public to give suggestions for revenue generation or cost saving in the City’s budget.

He added that the operating budget for the City of Thompson is around $23M.

Mayor Fenske said that the meeting will also serve as the launch of their annual budget survey. The survey will be available on the City's website, and in hard-copy at City Hall, after the meeting.
