The report and action planned aimed at bringing tourists to northern Manitoba is officially in the hands of the Province.
The Look North tourism strategy report and action plan was officially handed over from strategy co-chairs Chuck Davidson and Christian Sinclair to Minister Blaine Pedersen (Provincial Minister of Growth, Enterprise and Trade) at an event in Thompson last night.
Before the report was officially given to Minister Pedersen, Chief Sinclair said that the training of Indigenous peoples is part of the solution to keeping the north strong.
Eileen Clark, the provincial mister of northern and indigenous affairs, as well as Jeff Wharton, provincial minister of municipal relations, were also in attendance.
