The City of Thompson will be hosting a public consultation at St. Joseph’s Church hoping to hear feedback on the new waste water treatment facility.

The City is required to upgrade the facility to meet up with current standards. The City has received funding from the Federal and Provincial Governments at $12.167 million each while the last $12.167 million will be financed by the city. That amount will be paid off over a 25 year period.

The annual payment will end up being almost $952 thousand a year.
