After the City of Thompson and the United Steelworkers agreed with a new four year contract, Mayor Dennis Fenske says it won't cost taxpayers more money.
Employees will get a 1.25% raise every year of their contract except the last year, which will be a 1.5% increase.
Fenske said that taxpayers won't be paying more because of the contract, as the pay will increase along with projected inflation for the next four years.
Fenske said he couldn't put a figure on it at this time.
