During the School Board Meeting this week, a discussion was brought up on how many school days kids are missing.

Many students are organized in extra activities attached to the school like sports, band and trips that classes would take.

Trustee Leslie Tucker brought the board to the attention that some students have missed up to 30 days of school because extra activities.

The board said they would be interested at looking at limiting the days in the New Year and said the Policy Committee would be the committee to look at the rules.
