In the first two weeks of the new speed limits along schools, Thompson motorists have been responsible.
That was the message that was given by the Thompson RCMP when asked if there have been many incidents around school zones.
Every September 1st, in school zones, the speed limits change to 30 km/h except for R.D. Parker which stays the regular limit as it is all year long.
The Manitoba introduced the speed limit change to all elementary schools in the province back in the fall of 2014.
