Two inquests have been called by Manitoba's Acting Chief Medical Examiner after deaths in the past year.

One of them was surrounding a homicide in Thompson which happened last November. Steven Douglas Campbell was killed he allegedly tried to run over an RCMP officer who had pulled him over for impaired driving. The cause of the death was multiple gunshot wounds.

What will be investigated are the circumstances relating Campbell's death and to determine if anything can be done to prevent similar deaths of occurring.

Information of the date, time and location of the inquests will be determined and released t a later date.
