Just in time for school, the City of Thompson is ready pull out all the stops for one big bash for the end of summer.

On Friday, instead of the usual Concert in the Park, local musicians will be playing at the Back to School Bash. The event takes place at Maclean Park from 12 to 2PM. If it rains, it'll be at the TRCC.

Tracy Smith is set to be the headlining act, while DJ dance music will play the rest of the time. Karaoke will be set up for anyone that wants to test out their vocals.

Prizes will be handed out throughout the afternoon.
