The Lalor Mine near Snow Lake was officially opened last week.

Mayor Clarence Fisher of the community says this mine will ensure a generation of stability to Hudbay employees and members of the community.

This Hudbay mine will bring a profit into Snow Lake and will strength the quality of life there as well as all of northern Manitoba.

Fisher says mines have brought people from across the country and around the world to Snow Lake. He thanks Hudbay for their confidence in the region.
