Wolves Cap Off Tough Road Trip With Win Over Winnipeg Hawks

The Bantam “AAA” Norman Wolves spent the weekend down south for games against the Parkland Rangers, Winnipeg Monarchs and Winnipeg Hawks.

The Nor-Man side started the short trip in Roblin Friday against the Parkland Rangers. Brady Krentz opened the scoring late in the first on the powerplay, but that was all the offence the team could muster as they ended up falling 4-1.

The Wolves then made the trip to Winnipeg, where they fell 10-0 to the Monarchs in a game they’d soon rather forget.

The Wolves brought their ‘A’ game Sunday and managed to pull off an 8-7 win over the Winnipeg Hawks.

The Norman Wolves sit seventh in the Winnipeg “AAA” Bantam 1 West division with a record of 4-24-1-1 through 30 games.

The team is next in action this weekend as the return to the T.R.C.C. for a pair of games against the Pembina Valley Hawks.
