The Thompson Sports News

There will once again be no female midget “AAA” hockey in northern Manitoba.

It was recently announced that the Norman “AAA” Wild, who have not iced a team since the 2016-2017 season, have pulled out of the Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League.

The program was put on ice following the 16/17 season, following the graduation of most of the team from the age group.

Despite the midget “AAA” program not being run, the Norman Wild Bantam “AAA” club is still alive and well. The tryouts for the team are being held in Flin Flon this weekend.
