Blizzard Look To Lock Up Home Ice For Playoffs

The OCN Blizzard continue their road trip tonight with a game against the last-place Waywayseecappo Wolverines.

The Blizzzard are coming off a 3-2 shootout loss to the Portage Terriers, and will be looking to once again get the upper hand on the Wolverines to gain some separation in the standings from the Flyers.

OCN and Wayway last met during the Northern Manitoba Trappers’ Festival, where the Blizzard beat the Wolverines 3-2 and 2-1.

After tonight, OCN heads to Neepawa where they have back-to-back games against the Natives at the Yellowhead Centre. The Blizzard will be in tough, as Neepawa is the only team outside of the top eight left with a shot at the playoffs. They currently sit five points back of Swan Valley for the final playoff spot.
