OCN Blizzard Host Wayway

The OCN Blizzard are at home this weekend during the Northern Manitoba Trappers' Festival with a pair of games against the Wayway Wolverines.

The Blizzard have won all three games that the two teams have played this season to date. They last met on January 24th, with the Blizzard skating away with a 4-1 victory.

OCN currently sits fifth in the MJHL, one point back of the Winkler Flyers. They'll be pushing hard the rest of the season, which ends at the end of month, in an attempt to earn home ice advantage in the playoffs. Anthony Keeper continues to lead the Blizzard with 49 points (15G, 34A) in 49 games.

Waywayseecappo on the other hand can do nothing but try and play spoiler. The Wolverines are dead last in the MJHL with a record of 7-14-3-1, and have already been eliminated from playoff contention. Hibbing, Minnesota native Jake Bestul is among the team leaders for Wayway, and has 20 points (10G, 10A) in 52 games played.

The first game of the weekend will go tonight at 7:00pm.
