The 48th annual Munn Cup tournament is now underway at the T.R.C.C.
This year’s edition of the tournament features 21 teams. There are three teams from Thompson ("AA" King Miners, "A" Kinger Miners, "B" side Carroll Aeors), one from Waboden ("B" side), and two from Nunavut ("A" side from Arviat, "B" side from Rankin Inlet).
The first game of the tournament, which started minutes ago, is a "B" side matchup between Arviat and Cross Lake. Today's games will wrap up with a "AA" matchup between Swan River and Norway House in the Gordon Beard Arena at 8:00pm.
The official opening ceremonies will take place tomorrow at 12:45pm, before the "AA" King Miners take on Swan River.
Tomorrow's games will go from 8:00am to 8:00pm with the final games being played on Sunday.
