The Thompson Sports News

The Norman Northstars are in tough tonight in Winnipeg against the Wild.

The NorMan squad made the long trek down to the provincial capital last night, and are well rested for the tough task of facing the Winnipeg Wild.

The Northstars would rather forget the last time they saw the Wild, which was a few weekends ago in Thompson. The Winnipeg side outscored the Northstars 29-3 over the two games that they played.

The Wild currently sits atop the Manitoba Midget “AAA” Hockey League with a record of 35-4-0-1-1, holding the tiebreak over the Brandon Wheat Kings, who also have 72 points

The Northstars are at the other end of the spectrum, sitting last with seven points.

Tonight’s puck drop is scheduled for 7:00pm. Be sure to follow 102.9 CHTM on Facebook for the latest updates on the game.

If you won a lottery would you prefer to remain anonymous?
Yes. I wouldn't want people asking me for money.
No. If I won enough, I'd just go away.
Maybe. It would depend on how much I won.
