OCN Blizzard Home For Two This Weekend

The OCN Blizzard will be looking to climb up the MJHL ladder this weekend as they host both Neepawa and Winkler.

The Blizzard will kick off their weekend tonight with a game agains the Neepawa Natives at the Gordon Lathlin Memorial Centre. OCN is coming off a pair of losses to the Winnipeg Blues. The Natives on the other hand are coming off a 3-1 road win over the Stampeders.

After tonight, the Blizzard will have a quick turnaround as they will host the Winkler Flyers on Saturday night. The two teams are currently tied with 56 points in the standings, though Winkler holds fourth and OCN sixth as the Flyers have three more regulation wins.

The Blizzard are led up front by former Norman Northstars standout, and Cross Lake native, Anthony Keeper. The 20-year-old third year Blizzard forward currently leads the team with 45 points (15G, 30A) in 43 games played.
