The Norman Northstars had an up and down road trip down south over the weekend.

The NorMan squad picked up two points in a OT victory over the Eastman Selects on Friday evening before falling to the Winnipeg Bruins 13-3 Saturday and then dropping a 7-3 decision to the Interlake Lightning yesterday.

Rookie forward Jamie Valentino was a bright spot for the Northstars on the weekend, putting up two goals and one assist. 

The Northstars are on the road again next weekend, taking on the Brandon Wheatkings, Southwest Cougars and Parkland Rangers.
