The Norman Northstars are still in search of their first win after dropping three games over the weekend during the Manitoba Midget AAA showcase in Portage.

The NorMan side opened up the showcase Friday, dropping a 5-2 to the Central Plains Capitals.

Saturday saw the Northstars pick up their first point of the season, as they came close in a 5-4 shootout loss to the Brandon Wheat Kings.

The Norman Northstars wrapped up the showcase yesterday, falling 8-5 to the Parkland Rangers.

The team will host the Interlake Lightning at the Thompson Regional Community Centre this coming Friday and Saturday.
