The OCN Blizzard were in Virden over the weekend where they split a weekend series with the Oil Capitals.

Lantz Hiebert potted his fourth of the season to give the Blizzard an early first period lead, but it wasn't enough as Virden had the game tied by the end of the second. Oil Capitals forward Ben Dalke potting the game winner early into a penalty-riddled third period. The final score was 6-4.

OCN would respond in the Saturday affair, dropping the Capitals 4-1. Daniel Chartrand led the way for the Blizzard with a goal and an assist.

The OCN Blizzard currently sit second in the MJHL, only behind the Steinbach Pistons.
