The Norman Northstars are still looking for their first win of the 2017/2018 season after dropping both games in their weekend series with the Yellowhead Chiefs.

The NorMan squad allowed three first period goals, including two in the opening minute, and just couldn't claw their way back into the game. Albert Berard and Mitchell Reid would increase the Northstars goal totals from the previous night, but it wasn't enough.

Brian Mentuck lead the way for the Chiefs with a goal and two assists for three points, while Chad Nychuk, Owen Wareham, Logan Tanner and Tanner Dutcawich all had multi-point nights.

The Northstars next game is scheduled for Friday against the Central Plains Capitals. Their next home game is on October 27th against the Interlake Lightning.
