The Wheat Kings played a pair of games over the weekend, beating the Edmonton Oil Kings on Friday before falling to the Swift Current Broncos Saturday.

The Wheaties doubled up on the Oil Kings 6-3 thanks to four point performances from both Tyler Coulter and captain Nolan Patrick. Coulter had two goals and two assists while Patrick had four helpers.

Tyler Steenbergen lead the way with a pair of goals for the Broncos on Saturday as Swift Current powered past Brandon 4-1. Tyler Coulter scored his 23rd of the season, the Wheat Kings only goal in the game, assisted by Nolan Patrick and Connor Gutenberg.
