The Norman Northstars kicked off 2017 with a road swing this past weekend. On Friday, the Norman squad was downed by the Winnipeg Wild 4-1. On Saturday the Eastman Selects took it to the Northstars with a 7-1 win and yesterday the Interlake Lightning got past them 10-6.
The Northstars will be looking for luck this coming weekend as they play their first set of home games on the new year. They play host to the Brandon Wheat Kings.
