The 2017 Prince-Berscheid Peewee Memorial Hockey Tournament got underway Friday and saw some dominant play from the Thompson AA team.   It carried them right through to the playoff for the Doug’s Source for Sports Cup on Sunday.    They came away with the gold, beating out The Pas AA 5 - 0 in their Sunday afternoon game at the C.A. Nesbitt Arena.  

In the A Division, the Landers Cup went to the bronze winners, Split Lake.   They had a 12-6 win again the Thompson A team.    The winner of the Prince-Berscheid Cup gold was the team from Arviat.  They won 7 - 1 against Norway House, who claimed the silver.
