James Shearer scored on a power play 2:40 into overtime to give the Brandon Wheat Kings a 2-1 victory over the Moose Jaw Warriors.

The triumph served as the third consecutive win for the Wheat Kings, including a 4-3 overtime win against the Warriors the night before.

Jordan Papirny made 35 saves for his 12th win of the season, while Zach Sawchenko stopped 36 pucks in defeat.

The Wheaties will host the Saskatoon Blades tonight. The Blades are the first team out of the wildcard spot currently possessed by Brandon.
