Nisokapawino Forestry Management Corporation, Canadian Kraft Paper To Hold Meetings In Thompson, Nelson House, Wabowden, Cross Lake

Nisokapawino Forestry Management Corporation will be holding community information meetings in the area stating Monday.

 

They’ll be joined by representatives from Canadian Kraft Paper, and will be talking about their two-year harvest and renewal plan.

 

Area planner Mike Paddock spoke to Arctic Radio News, and said that the discussion will include topics such as timber harvesting, forest renewal, road construction and road decommissioning activities.

 

There will be three meetings Monday; at 1:00pm in Wabowden (at the arena), and in Thompson and Nelson House starting at 7:00pm. The meeting in Thompson will take place at the Best Western, while in Nelson House they will be at the arena. Tuesday there will be a meeting Cross Lake at 7:00pm.
