Three Thompsonites received top honours over the Canada Day weekend at the Northern Juried Art Exhibition in Flin Flon.


Mable Glaicar took home first and third in the fiber art division, while Keith Derksen and Veronica Buda came first and third respectively in photography.


There were 21 artists who submitted 40 pieces for the show, with entrants coming from Cranberry Portage and The Pas as well as Flin Flon and Thompson.


Flin Flon’s Karen Clark won both best in show and best painting for her work entitled “Kayak Scenes Schist Lake Island”. (Pictured above)
