Thompson RCMP have a 16-year-old in custody following multiple reports of an armed male.
Last Thursday, a male youth was removed from a hotel bar in Thompson. He threatened employees that he was going to return with a weapon and shoot-up the establishment.
Late the same evening, a taxi with it's emergency beacon activated entered the Thompson RCMP detachment parking lot. The taxi driver informed responding officers that as he was picking up customers, a male youth approached his taxi with a gun, threatened to shoot him, then shot at the cab. The driver fled and headed towards the RCMP detachment for safety.

Right after, Thompson RCMP received a report that a female had been robbed at gun point and that a vehicle parked at a local school had been shot with what appeared to be pellets from a BB gun.
Early Friday morning, the investigation led officers to a Thompson residence where a pellet gun rifle was located. The 16-year-old male youth was also located at the residence and arrested without incident. He has been charged with robbery with a firearm and uttering threats against a person. He remains in custody.
