Library Showcasing Local Artists

The Thompson Public Library has started showcasing local artists.

Leila Graham, from the T.P.L., joined Chris Walker on the 102.9 CHTM morning show earlier today and said that they are hoping to do a weekly art show, starting on Thursday.

The first one, taking place this Thursday (November 23rd) will feature Meaghan Peters. Graham said that Peters is very talented and that her works are original. The show will start at 6:00pm.

The following week, on December 1st, the Library will showcase the work of Brontë Hendren. Hendren is no stranger to the library, as she usually leads the "Wine and Paint" nights.

In addition to the art shows, the Thompson Public Library is holding a Holiday Art Sale, which starts today and runs until December 23rd. The art will be on display at the library and will feature a different local artist every week.
