Premier Brian Pallister is traveling back to Manitoba today to be re-evaluated following injuries sustained while on vacation in New Mexico.
The injuries occurred while hiking in the Gila Wilderness, including numerous cuts and bruises, as well as compound fractures in his left arm, all a result of a serious fall.
He spent the night in Silver City in hospital, and he'll be re-evealuted once he arrives back in the province to determine if surgery is needed.
Pallister will be resting at home with his family over the weekend.
