Thompson RCMP is asking for help from the public regarding a homicide investigation.

On November 17, 2016, RCMP received a call that someone was concerned for the well-being of an 83-year-old male. The police went to the male’s residence and upon entering, found the male deceased. Investigation revealed the death to be a homicide.

Franc Mlakar, a long-time Thompson resident, was last seen on October 31, 2016.
