The Manitoba Government made improvements this year giving funs to Northern Manitoba, but Volker Beckman of Spirit Way says their group will still have to look for money.

Thompson was home to four groups which received grants from the Provincial Government as Spirit Way, Thompson Zoological Association, the Boreal Discovery Centre and Tourism North all received grants.

Beckman said that with the abundance of grants given out, that the organization only received half of what they wanted and will have to look for other ways to raise the funds.

A board meeting will be this Wednesday to determine how to collect the remaining funds.
