Spirit Way Incorporated will be part of four big events this upcoming year in hoping to resonate that Thompson is the Wolf Capital of the World.
In part of Canada's 150th celebration, the Canadian Embassy in the UK will promote a Northern Manitoba adventure which will give away a free trip worth $35,000 to one lucky tourist. The trip would take the winner to Winnipeg to experience the Polar Bear exhibit at the Assiniboine Zoo, here to Thompson to experience the Wolf capital of the world, and Churchill for the Polar Bear experience.
Along with the embassy promotion, the city of Wolverhampton in the UK will let Spirit Way participate in the city's wolf statue program. Spirit Way will paint two of the statues which will be displayed.
There is plans to have an Aurora Borealis Conference and Festival in September and a 2nd Wolf and Carnivore Conference in October.
A preliminary report will also be unveiled for the proposed Wolf Centre of Excellence which would be constructed in the Boreal Forest behind the TRCC and UCN.
All these plans were announced during the Spirit Way Annual General Meeting.
