The group that will be starting up a project to build an over 55 building in the City of Thompson is holding an information session on September 24th.
The manor which will hold residents who are 55 and older is in the early stages for the project and will have a luncheon to hear more information and how to secure a spot.
The building will be called the Lions Manor 55 which is intended to be a home who would be interested in living in a location without the responsibilities of a normal home.
Treasurer Penny Byer says it will be a place that will help with the residents as they start to get older.
