239 customers of Manitoba Hydro lost power on Wednesday night after a few storms came through the Thompson area.

A tree came down on a feeder line in the area and the homes were without power for a couple of hours. The lights turned back on around 10:30PM. There were other minor outages around the city throughout the night and morning but those weren't tracked by Manitoba Hydro.

The numbers in Thompson and surrounding areas were dwarfed by the storm in Southern Manitoba as the lost power in household was in the tens of thousands.
