Ma-Mo-We-Tak Friendship centre celebrated another year of providing programs and services to the Aboriginal community, during their AGM last week.
Executive Director Anita Campbell said their Elders Program was a continued success this year, with around 104 Elders involved.
The friendship centre was also approved for 2 new projects that are in the works: Youth Win With Choices and Employment First North.
An area of concern for the friendship centre is the anticipated funding decrease in the next year. Campbell said lobbying efforts are underway.
