Thompson RCMP will be out this week reminding motorists to be safe.
It’s all part of Canada Road Safety Week, which aims at making Canada’s roads the safest in the world.
The campaign is a police initiative that focuses on behaviours that put drivers and others at risk. This includes impaired driving, seat belt use, and distracted driving.
RCMP say here in Thompson, there have been a number of preventable deaths and injuries that impact our community, which is why they have joined in the initiative.
