RCMP are currently investigating after a false explosive report was made on Wednesday in Leaf Rapids. 

The threat caused an evacuation of around 230 people from the Town Centre Complex for around 4 hours.

Although the threat was false, RCMP say the perceived threat was real.

RCMP Explosive Device Unit are assisting with the investigation. Anyone with information is encourage to call the Leaf Rapids RCMP at 204-473-2944.
