The day for celebrating children will be celebrated once again here in Thompson.
In addition to the Christmas parade, there will be flu shots, musical entertainment by Russell Peters, face painting, hot chocolate, and snow sliding depending on the weather.
The day is a reminder that children need support, encouragement and respect in order to grow to their full potential.
This year National Child Day will be celebrated on November 29th at the Thompson Regional Community Centre from 2:30pm-5:00pm.
