Newly elected mayor, Dennis Fenske has proclaimed November to be Diabetes Month in the city of Thompson. He has also proclaimed November 14 to be World Diabetes Day here in the city.
To mark the month, Northern Health Region will be hosting events on November 14 starting at 11am, including a Diabetes Walk and a cooking demonstration to follow at the TRCC.
