Construction continues in Thompson with asphalt finally going down. Director of Public Works Wayne Koversky says residents need to slow down in construction zones.

“The construction zone under our municipal traffic by law is 30km/h going through. So be aware of that when there is construction. If they can stay out of those areas where they see asphalt crews working, and take a different route that way they won’t be delayed to their destination."

Workers are currently paving, doing some concrete work, and mending water breaks. All construction should be finished by next Tuesday.
