Vale and USW Local 6166 announced today that they have reached a tentative agreement. The agreement is for a new five year collective bargaining deal.
The United Steelworkers will hold membership meetings today in the city to present the offer.
Details on the offer of settlement can not be disclosed until employees have the chance to vote.
On Monday a ratification vote will be held.
