Stuart Walter

Originally from Mississauga, Ontario, Stuart joined the CHTM team from Ottawa, where he graduated from the Algonquin College Radio Broadcasting Program.

Stuart isn't a total stranger to the north, as he spent a few months in 2016 doing the news at a radio station in Yellowknife, NWT.

Before moving to Thompson, Stuart had been the Executive Producer of Hockey for CKDJ 107.9 in Ottawa, an intern at Rogers Sportsnet 590 the Fan in Toronto, and the voice of the Kemptville 73's Jr "A" Hockey Club.

Previous to being the voice of the 73's, he spent time as the voice of three other CCHL teams; the Gloucester Jr "A" Rangers, the Nepean Jr "A" Raiders and the Ottawa Jr "A" Senators.

Stuart loves the Toronto Maple Leafs, hockey, sports, Batman movies, playing his cornet and his wife, Rebecca.

Yes. It's so dry and we're surrounded by trees.
