On Air

Josh Cain

Originally coming to Thompson for the Morning Show in 2013, I have returned for the Mid-Day show on your radio, 102.9 CHTM!

My years in the Hub of the North from 2013-2015 taught me that "Home really is where the heart is."

Call it cheesy, but when your gut is telling you something, my advice is DO NOT IGNORE IT!

Your intuition can sometimes know things, you haven't yet come to understand.

So most popular question so far "Why did you come back?"

Well, I left to pursue another adventure, and I don't regret it! I learned a lot about myself, specifically that big city living was no longer my cup of tea.

I found my peace here in Thompson, as I believe many do. And you know.... not spending 3 hours in traffic on a daily basis just to get to work (Winnipeg) is pretty sweet!

Thompson is what you make of it... so I say... let's make it ROCK together!

I want to hear from you, if you have something you'd like to talk about! Send me an email, call me on the show, or just yell at me in the grocery store! Why not?!

So good being back home, keep your soul shinin',

- Josh Cain

Visitor Poll

Would you like to have the Thompson landfill open on Saturdays all year long?
Yes. It's hard to get there weekdays after work.
No. It will be an added expenditure for the City.
