The St. Lawrence Church will hold as Rummage Sale on Friday, April 27th from 2pm to 8pm and again on Saturday, April 28th from 8am- 3pm.

 

Anyone is welcome to drop off items to the Pastoral Centre- the building next to the St. Lawrence Hall- Monday through Friday from 9am- 2pm

 

If you can only drop items off on Saturdays, please call 677-0163 and leave a message to arrange a drop off time.

 

Large items such as furniture, bicycles or appliances can be dropped off any time Thursday, April 26th at the Hall.

 

Please make sure any items you donate are clean and in working condition.

 

They are not accepting clothing for this sale.

10:30AM 9:00PM "Escape Adventures" @ The Thompson Public Library

The Thompson Public Library is hosting an Escape Room fundrasing event, sponsored by Lock N' Load, on Saturday, April 28th. The Escape Rooms start at 10:30am and end at 9:00pm.

 

Book a time by calling 204-677-3717 or by facebook messaging the library. Or you can come by on the Saturday and wait for a room. Families will get 20- 30 minutes a room for $10, while Teens and Adults will get 40 minutes a room for $20.

 

Readiing skills are required, groups are 2-6 people at a time and only ages 9 and up are allowed to participate.

All Day Relay for Life 2018

The 16th Annual Relay for Life starts at 5 pm  at the TRCC and runs until 3 am.

Drop by the arena to support those who have fought against cancer and those who are still fighting.    Attend the Survivors' lap, sponsor a participant, purchase luminaries and buy some silent auction tickets. 

 

All money raised goes to research and the development of new programs to support those diagnosed with cancer.
