Steps to Success- Employment/Asset Building

From 9:00AM to 3:00PM

Come over to the YWCA for their Steps to Success Program! They are offering a variety of Essential Skills training courses throughout the month of November. If you are interested, call 204-677-5016 or drop in and visit the good folks in the basement of the YWCA for more information.

 

Come in from November 14th to the 30th, between the hours of 9am and 3pm, for Employment and Asset Building courses.

Juniper Centre Craft Sale

From 10:00AM to 3:00PM

Come over to the Juniper Centre on Saturday, November 25th between 10am and 3pm for a Craft Sale! There are all kinds of crafts and baked goods being sold. The Juniper Centre is also looking for baking items for donation and volunteers for that day.

 

Price of Admission is $5 (with the inclusion of a light lunch) for adults, $3 for children under 12 and Seniors and $2 if you just want to check out the craft sale.

 

Tables are sold out but just call them up at 204-677-2970 to be put on a waiting list. They are also willing to answer any questions you may have.

Come to the St. Andrew's Church on 249 Thompson Dr for a Coffee House! The event is being held on Nov 25/17, from 7pm- 10pm. Everyone is welcome for a night filled with local muscians of a variety of styles, snacks, coffee, friends and fun! Donations are collected at the door. Volunteering is a great way to give back to your community – or dial a deer to use the service yourself! The service runs most Fridays and Saturdays and New Year's Eve.
