Come over to the YWCA for their Steps to Success Program! They are offering a variety of Essential Skills training courses throughout the month of November. If you are interested, call 204-677-5016 or drop in and visit the good folks in the basement of the YWCA for more information.

Now's the time o make plans to be a part of the Catholic Women's League Christmas Craft & Bake Sale. It takes place on Saturday, November 18th at the St. Lawrence Hall and runs from 10am- 3pm. It's a great way to get exposure for your home-made crafts or home buisness. Be part of this great Christmas tradition in Thompson. Book your table by calling Cindy at 679-7517. Tables are $25 each.

The Annual General Meeting of the Flin Flon NDP Constituency Association will be held on November 18, 2017 commencing at 1:30 p.m.at 86 Main Street, Flin Flon, Manitoba. Nominations and elections of officers for the constituency executive will be held for the ensuing year. All executive positions are up for election. Only party members in good standing are eligible to nominate or cast a vote for an executive position. Come out and meet our MLA Tom Lindsey and hear him speak on the many important issues facing our constituency, the North and our province. Refreshments and a light lunch will follow the meeting. On November 18th, between 11am- 3pm, Westwood Elementary is going to be holding a Craft Sale! Tables are $25 and the cost of admission is a silver donation.
