Story Time at the Thompson Public Library runs Thursdays and Saturdays at 10:30. Drop in for stories and a craft.

Operation Red Nose 2017 begins on November 24th and runs every weekend until December 31st (excluding Dec 29 & 30). To volunteer pick up forms at 102.9 CHTM at 103 Cree Road.
You're invited to the Thompson Public Library for 2 free movie nights in November. Nov. 22 is Beauty and the Beast. Nov. 29 is Swiss Family Robinson. Movie times are 4:30 - 7 pm both nights.
Juniper Centre Craft Sale is Nov. 25th from 10 am - 3 pm. Admission is $5 for adults with light lunch, children 12 and under and seniors are $3 with lunch. Just $2 if you're just coming to the craft sale.

Futures & Baby's First Start is holding a wide variety of free events and programs for families throughout the month of June. Futures is located at 125 Commerical Place and is open Monday to Thursday from 9:00am- 3:00pm

 

Come join them every Thursday for parenting programs and a Babies First Start pre natal groups. 

 

Dads can also get together from 6:00pm- 8:00pm for a Dad's Group! Snacks provided.

 

1:00PM 3:00PM "It's Too Heavy" Workshop @ the YWCA

The YWCA will be hosting an Informational Session Thursday, September 21 (1:00-3:00pm) for women interested in entering non-traditional careers.  The session is call "It's too Heavy and Other Myths about Women and Work".  The afternoon will be offered free of charge and will include some career information, refreshments, activities and some guest Speakers (women who are successfully working in non-traditional areas).  The event will be held in the YWCA Women's Centre (1st floor, Room 115) and everyone is invited.

 

 

6:00PM n/a Take Back the Night Walk

Take Back the Night is an event with the purpose of unifying everyone and bringing awareness about the violence in our streets. We're gathering together at Robin's Donuts on Sept 21st at 6pm and we'll set out on the Take Back the Night walk after listening to some speakers.
