Operation Red Nose 2017 begins on November 24th and runs every weekend until December 31st (excluding Dec 29 & 30). To volunteer pick up forms at 102.9 CHTM at 103 Cree Road.
You're invited to the Thompson Public Library for 2 free movie nights in November. Nov. 22 is Beauty and the Beast. Nov. 29 is Swiss Family Robinson. Movie times are 4:30 - 7 pm both nights.
Juniper Centre Craft Sale is Nov. 25th from 10 am - 3 pm. Admission is $5 for adults with light lunch, children 12 and under and seniors are $3 with lunch. Just $2 if you're just coming to the craft sale.

Futures & Baby's First Start is holding a wide variety of free events and programs for families throughout the month of June. Futures is located at 125 Commerical Place and is open Monday to Thursday from 9:00am- 3:00pm

 

Come join them every Thursday for parenting programs and a Babies First Start pre natal groups. 

 

Dads can also get together from 6:00pm- 8:00pm for a Dad's Group! Snacks provided.

 

11:30AM 1:30PM Manitoba Hydro Thompson Torch Relay & Free BBQ Manitoba Hydro is sponsoring the Thompson Torch Relay - a prelude to the 2017 Canada Summer Games. On Thursday, July 6th, Thompson will have 10 runners in the relay starting at 16 Station Road around Thompson Drive and ending at Maclean Park - the community celebration site for a FREE BBQ! The first 250 participants will enjoy lunch compliments of Manitoba Hydro. Come on out and celebrate with our runners: Caroline Winship, Madisyn Humby, Sandra Ross-Hitch, Stuart Walter, Jennifer Montgomery, Eve Spence, Conroy Halcrow, Taylor Kristjanson, Megan Szabo and Tyson Modiondz-Bone. A huge thank-you to Settarc Welding and Paint Lake Marina for their contributions in this event.
